Whats Involved In Roof Cleaning
If you are having your roof scraped by HW Ultimate Clean, we will use brushes and scrapers to clean the surface of your roof and remove as much moss, lychen and debris. This can be done via ground level, scaffold tower, and ladder depending on the access at the property.
The second stage of our roof cleaning is that we give the roof a treatment to kill off growths, and start the roof returning to its original colour.
We then apply a biocide to kill the remaining spores, and prevent regrowth. The biocide that we apply to the roof can take up to 18 months to take effect so patience is required to see the full effect.
Once this has been carried out, we vacuum the gutters to remove any debris that may have fallen in during the cleaning process, and then wash down the soffits and fascias to ensure that your property has received an all round pampering and it looking fantastic for all to see and admire.
How Long Does Roof Cleaning Take
How Much Does Roof Cleaning Cost
Roofs are the most important part of your home. They protect you from harsh weather conditions and also provide a good place to relax after a long day. However, roofs are prone to damage due to natural elements such as wind, rain, snow and ice. Roofing is one of the most expensive repairs in any house.
It can be difficult to know how much it will cost to repair or replace your roof. The average price for a new roof is in the thousands, which is rather a lot when you consider that most home owners in the UK do not have their roof cleaned as part of regular maintenance.
